Brass Transit was formed in 2008 and brought together eight of the most talented and accomplished award-winning musicians. Their sole purpose was to pay tribute to one of the world’s greatest and most successful pop-rock groups of all time, CHICAGO. Since then, the group has dazzled audiences with their flawless performances and spectacular attention to every detail of the CHICAGO songbook, including hits like: "Saturday in The Park," "25 or 6 To 4," "If You Leave Me Now" and more. Brass Transit goes far beyond just imitating the songs, they embody the music!
They recently produced their first CD taking top hits from the 70’s and recording them with horns in the CHICAGO style. The result is a fresh approach to some of the greatest hits of that era. Brass Transit will bring you back to the most memorable times of your life.
Since the early 90’s when they first achieved national television fame on PBS’s Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?, Rockapella has toured the globe and provided a funky, powerful soundtrack to several generations of vocal music fans, while keeping it fresh along the way. With buckets of catchy original pop songs, and complete contemporary revisions of sparkling pop and soul classics – plus an unbeatable Christmas tour and catalog – this group has always been the one to watch.
The current Rockapella lineup features Scott Leonard (high tenor & arranger), Jeff Thacher (vocal percussionist), Calvin Jones (tenor), Manny Houston (tenor), and George Baldi (bass). "People have a hard time believing it’s just us making all of that music. It’s still those same familiar elements that make modern band music: percussion, bass, melody and harmonies," says group member Scott Leonard.
Not many vocal groups can claim to have been members of a Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame band, but this group can. They were handpicked by the legendary Franki Valli to join The Four Seasons. During that time, they began to develop their own identity and sound reminiscent of the vocal groups of yesterday, but with today’s MODERN style. This led to the birth of THE MODERN GENTLEMEN and becoming the premier, vocal harmony group in celebrating the Great American songbook and more!
With three studio albums to their name, they’ve toured all over the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. They’ve also starred in two PBS specials, have headlined in Las Vegas, and recently had their own residency in Atlantic City, NJ. They continue to connect the generations with a perfect blend of classic nostalgia and originality!

Michael Cavanaugh is the new voice of the American Rock & Roll Songbook and a charismatic performer and musician made famous for his piano/lead vocals in the Broadway musical Movin’ Out. The show culminated in 2003 with both Grammy and Tony award nominations.
With the close of Movin’ Out at the end of 2005, Michael began touring in his own right, creating a show that reinterprets the modern pop/rock songbook. Matt Vee, along with cousins Jeff and Tommy Vee, local music scene veterans and sons of the legendary Bobby Vee, join forces with their family and friends as The Killer Vees to celebrate the timeless music catalog of Neil Diamond. With songs like "Cracklin’ Rosie," "America," and "Sweet Caroline," Neil Diamond sold over 100 million records worldwide with hits spanning five decades.

We have been fans since we were in grade school and first learning our respective instruments, and we played many of these tunes over the years in various bands. It’s a Rockin’ show!"
