Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Student Matinee

CPAC, Inc.’s Visiting Artists Series is presenting and funding a student matinee of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for the holidays. Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club is presenting an evening show on the same day. The matinee, which will be filled with students from various grade levels, reflects the Cedarburg PAC, Inc.’s commitment to offer educational experiences for our community.

Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is considered one of the finest orchestras in the country. Since its inception in 1959, the MSO has continued to find new ways to deliver innovative music for area audiences, help young people develop an appreciation for music, and elevate Milwaukee’s reputation as an orchestral hub. Once again this season, the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club presents the MSO’s holiday concert at Cedarburg PAC.

The Company Men

The Company Men are a nationally recognized pop vocal group featuring performers from the Broadway and National Touring companies of Hairspray, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, Camelot and the Emmy Award-winning NBC mini-series The Temptations.

Unlike any other four-man vocal group touring today, The Company Men uniquely interweave today’s Top 40 hits with re-imagined classics of the last six decades by blending songs by your favorite artists, including Sam Smith, The Four Tops, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Adele, The Temptations, Billy Joel, Prince, Meghan Trainor, Bruno Mars, Michael Bublé and more.

Dallas Brass

Founded in Dallas, TX, Dallas Brass has become one of America’s foremost musical ensembles. They have established a unique blend of traditional brass instruments with a full complement of drums and percussion. The ensemble’s repertoire includes classical masterpieces, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic music.

In addition to their solo engagements, Dallas Brass appears with symphony orchestras nationwide. They have shared the stage with the late Bob Hope, have performed for Presidents Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush, have appeared on the CBS Early Show and their music has been used on the TV show, The Young & The Restless.

The High Kings

Almost ten years ago, four Irish singers, performers and songwriters decided to take a calculated risk. Each of them had a wealth of history in the music business behind them, but knew that to maintain creative interest they would have to boldly go where no other Irish ballad group had gone before.

To say that The High Kings are charting a new course for Irish ballad music – equal parts rousing and reflective, energetic and insightful – is an understatement. They are, essentially, marking out a new and bright era for Irish folk music, and aiming to bring a broad demographic along for the journey.

Ted Vigil’s John Denver Tribute

Singer, songwriter and tribute artist, Ted Vigil, was born and raised in Washington. Performing since the age of ten in concert, symphonic and jazz bands, he also developed his talents as a drummer and singer. In 2006, he took first place in the Talent Quest contest in Laughlin, Nevada competing against contestants from 28 states, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

Ted has performed with Steve Wiesberg, John Denver’s lead guitar player from the 70’s. The most heard comments after his shows are "I can’t believe how much he looks and sounds like John Denver! It really took us back!"

Pat Hazell’s The Wonder Bread Years Starring John McGivern

The Wonder Bread Years (written and directed by former Seinfeld writer, Pat Hazell) is a fresh and funny salute to Americana. Audiences across the country are enjoying this fast-paced, hilarious, one-man show that not only restores a much-needed sense of wonder, but leaves them laughing and savoring the past like never before.

Starring in The Wonder Bread Years is John McGivern, who is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work on PBS and his one-man-shows, The Early Stories of John McGivern, A Midsummer Night McGivern, and John McGivern’s Home for The Holidays. His stories are personal and funny, touching and familiar, and speak to the importance of family.

Chris Mann

You might know Chris Mann from NBC’s The Voice, but that’s only one chapter of the story. In 2012, the world finally got the chance to meet Mann with his album debut, Roads, a bold reimagining of the classical-pop genre. The record, which boasts a wildly eclectic assortment of songs, hit ##1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and Top 5 on the Classical Chart.

He followed up the album with his very first PBS concert DVD and CD, "Chris Mann In Concert: A Mann For All Seasons" and appeared on PBS’ National Memorial Day Concert.

Jim Brickman & Anne Cochran

Christmas sparkles with new life as Grammy-nominated songwriter and piano sensation Jim Brickman brings beautiful music and charm to his holiday tour A Joyful Christmas. Jim brings his favorites, the hits and classics and exciting new melodies in a concert experience like a Christmas card come to life. Vocalist Anne Cochran joins him to share the sounds of the season.
