Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, considered one of the finest orchestras in the country, returns to the Cedarburg PAC for a special holiday concert. The MSO continues to reach new heights under the dynamic leadership of music director, Edo de Waart, who returns for a fifth season with the orchestra.

Jim Witter – “Feelin’ Groovy”

You are in for a groovy trip down memory lane with Jim Witter, as he brings to life the music of Simon and Garfunkel! Simon and Garfunkel were among the most popular recording artists of the 1960s with hits including: “The Sound of Silence,” “I Am a Rock,” “Homeward Bound,” “A Hazy Shade of Winter,” “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge over Troubled Water,” “The Boxer” and “Cecilia.” Jim Witter’s unique approach, comfortable rapport and golden tenor at the grand piano will easily transport you back to the ’60s.

Franc D’Ambrosio

Singer and actor Franc D’Ambrosio has earned the title of the world’s longest running phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera with five years running and over 3,000 performances. He also played the adult Anthony Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part III. His solo performance at the Cedarburg PAC celebrates the music of Broadway with favorites from shows likeLes Miserables, Chicago, Fosse, Ziegfield Folliesand, of course, Phantom of the Opera.

Another Round

Another Round started as Indiana University’s Straight No Chaser, one of the most popular collegiate a cappella groups in the country. Undergraduate students at Indiana University have maintained this music tradition since 1996. When the original group went on to sign a contract with Atlantic Records, the rotating IU group decided on a name change to distinguish between the two. The 10 current members chose the name Another Round, which they feel embodies everything that this incredible legacy stands for. Their new album, “Two For the Show” marks a new chapter in the storied history of men’s a cappella at IU.

The Greencards

From their first notes struck together in 2003 through tours with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, theGreencards have won steadily escalating acclaim for their multi-dimensional Americana vision. Their releases have topped the Billboard Bluegrass charts while two singles have garnered Grammy Award nominations. The music of this four piece band, spearheaded by Australians Carol Young and Kym Warner, is rhythmically irresistible, balancing taste and technique, engaging lyrics and melodies and wildly creative arrangements.

Cherish the Ladies is literally the most successful and sought-after Irish-American group in Celtic music. With their unique spectacular blend of virtuosi instrumental talents, beautiful vocals, captivating arrangements and stunning step dancing, this powerhouse group combines all the facets of Irish traditional culture and puts it forth in an immensely humorous and entertaining package. They’re sure to warm your heart this holiday season.

and Pat Hazell

John McGivern, America’s favorite storyteller, andPat Hazell, one of the original writers for NBC’s Seinfeld, share a very humorous evening at the Cedarburg PAC. Emmy Award-winning actor McGivern is currently the emcee of PBS series “Around the Corner with John McGivern.” Hazell is known for his genuine Americana humor and his salute to pop culture.
